Ever had one of those moments at the airport when you are in a hurry, walking quickly, and your rolling carry-on bag tips sideways? Or when you’re struggling to get all of your bags to the check-in counter, but you have too many things in your hands – essential things, perhaps, like a cane? Or you’re in a long airport screening line, and you’d just love to sit down for a minute or two?

Swany’s Walkin’Bag series may be the answer to your problems. Continue reading

Etsuo tells next product

The success of producing an ultra-light structure opened up new horizons—small bags.

Without a seat, making a bag lightweight and compact was very possible. I had always wanted a smaller bag to store my A4 documents (or legal documents in the US), pens, eyeglasses, and other miscellaneous items.

My ultimate, dream bag (at least for me) was a small bag I could lean on.  I wasn’t sure this was the case for my buyers, however, I created a proto type for it anyway. Continue reading

Unusual suitcase designs (Easy to Book)

by Ide

Everybody who travels uses luggage. Suitcases are often the weapon of choice to transport a person’s belongings. Whilst a suitcase is nothing more than a large case in different sizes which you have to carry or roll from point A to B, there could be situations where you wished your suitcase could do something more. That’s exactly what some designers or manufacturers thought, and they came up with all kinds of different uses and designs for suitcases.

My daughter wants one (testimonial)

I was trying to find an upright briefcase with extra space for overnight clothing and my samples. Then I found this bag. The interior is beige so easy to find what I am looking for. There’s pocket for pc and files for papers in the bag. This is the best work bag I’ve ever owned. It’s less expensive compare to the most other briefs of similar 22 size in the market. I walk with this bag rolling in front of me, beside me or sometimes behind me. It is the best. I don’t have to hurt my shoulders anymore. Now my daughter wants one from me.

CheapFlights.com recommends Walkin’Bag for Father’s Day

If you’re traveling with little ones, an older parent, or your own sore back, having a place to sit can be invaluable in long lines and crowded airports. Swany America makes a line of carry-ons and suitcases with built-in, fold-out seats that hold up to 300 pounds. No more sitting on the floor or crushing your luggage by using it as a makeshift seat.

This is the fourth or fifth walkin’bag I have owned (Customer Testimonial)

I am a hospice nurse and need to carry my laptop computer with many files every day. I like the swivel glide wheel feature allowing me to turn the bag around. I walk across a parking lot several times a day as I have to do and it’s much easier with this bag. This is the fourth or fifth walkin’bag I have owned and would not use any other bag for my daily needs. I love my bag.

Local Businesses Fight Against a Tough Economy
by Spencer Sutherland

When CEOs say they have a vision for their company, it’s meant to be taken figuratively. Etsuo Miyoshi, however, quite literally saw the future of his company in a dream. As a polio survivor and frequent traveler, the Japanese glove company CEO suffered from incessant pain in his legs. It was in his sleep that he first envisioned a piece of luggage with a curved handle that would be able to support his weight. He turned his attention from gloves to luggage and the Walkin’ Bag company was born. Continue reading
